I guess a true indication that summer’s here is the start of the season’s hottest festivals. This includes the always tasty Summerlicious, the Distillery’s multiple jazz events, but the one I’m really looking forward to this year is Luminato from June 6th to the 15th – “Toronto’s festival for arts and creativity”. Why, you might ask? Well…I’ll tell you.
Imagine my portrait along with 999 other women in Toronto’s cultural and creative scene with single word captions about everything that we are – determined, collaboration, devil-child…etc. Famed photographer Pierre Maraval took it upon himself and the great folks at Lancome Canada to capture all of us over the last couple of months for a massive exhibit at the Allen Lambert Galleria inside Brookfield Place (what we all know as BCE Place) at 181 Bay Street. So that’s the shameless plug to check out my picture along with others like Tanya Kim, Jeannie Becker, and supermodel Daria (CF keeps some good company).
As for my caption? Well, I’ll leave that up to you to find out when you check out the exhibit.
